Tammy Smith, (she/her/hers), a psychiatric social worker and a single mother from New Jersey, draws inspiration from her work in mental health. Her poetry and prose has been published or is forthcoming in Grand Little Things, Eunoia Review, Poem Alone, The Dewdrop, Ariel Chart, Sad Girl Diaries, The Rye Whiskey Review and iō Literary Journal. She regularly attends poetry readings and open mic events and has recently participated in the following events: Paterson Poetry Festival: Words Around the World- Hosted by Talena Lachelle Queen at Great Falls Amphitheater Paterson, NJ, within the Great Falls National Park. Brownstone Poets, virtually hosted by Patrica Caragon & Roxanne Hoffman Poetry at the Barn, Ringwood, NJ, hosted by Karen Lee Ramos Poetic Voices: A Night of Poetry at the Library.
